The NFIFF pledged to give back to First Responders

The NiagaraFalls International Film Festival pledged to give back to First Responders, and it is both an honor and a privilege to present a check for $1000 to the “Niagara County Public Safety Training Facility” on behalf of the NF International Film Festival and our sponsor Greenpac Mill.

“To the Chairman and members of the Niagara county Legislature…”

My name is Pat Proctor and it was my honor to be here on behalf of the Niagara Falls International Film Festival and its President Bill Cowell.

As the Chairman of the Niagara Falls Tourism Advisory Board, I can’t begin to tell you how important special events are to the tourism economy and the Film Festival is an example of that.

Last month, the film festival Hosted a number of events in Niagara County including the Opening Night At the Rapids Theatre in Niagara Falls and the closing ceremony at the historic Riviera Theatre in North Tonawanda which drew filmmakers and fans from all over the world and the US!

The film festival along with Greenpac Mill as its sponsor, welcomed 2 Oscar winners including Niagara Falls native, Mark Bridges, a 2 time Oscar winner, to Niagara Falls!

As part of the Film Festival’s programming, the film festival showcased Man in Red Bandana, a 9-11 documentary showcasing the heroic efforts of Welles Crowther who selflessly gave his life to save at least 10 people from the upper floors of the South World Trade Center Tower!

The NF International Film Festival pledged to give back to First Responders, and it is both an honor and a privilege to present a check for $1000 to the “Niagara County Public Safety Training Facility” on behalf of the NF International Film Festival and our sponsor Greenpac Mill.
