NFIFF offers a number of ways for press to write about our films and filmmakers, as well as attend our screenings, panels, parties, and special events:
THE RED CARPETS
If you are interested in capturing the mood and flavor of the fest, as well as get a great selection of quotes and sound bites from the NFIFF filmmakers, these red carpets will be your best opportunity in the quickest amount of time. They will feature local talent, as well as filmmakers from across the country and world that have traveled here to appear with their films. Features films, dramas, comedies, documentaries, animation, and shorts – all on one red carpet together. All press will be pre-placed on the red carpet, and will be introduced to the filmmakers as they arrive and pose for photos and do interviews.
PRESS RELEASES
Press releases are distributed year-round both locally and nationally regarding NFIFF, and its supporting events and screenings. If you have not been receiving those press releases, please request to be put on our mailing list at jswildman@hotmail.com.
PRESS ACCREDITATION
There is a simple application process to request a press badge to attend and cover NFIFF. Requests for application forms go to jswildman@hotmail.com.
IN STUDIO OR ONE-ON ONE FILMMAKERÂ INTERVIEWS
We want to get as many as our filmmakers in your studios, and in front of your microphones, or on the phone with you before or during the fest. Send your request to jswildman@hotmail.com and will coordinate that or turn it around as quickly as we can.
SCREENING LINKS, IMAGES, PRESS KITS
Both prior to and during the film festival, we have press materials for the majority of our films and filmmakers, so again – reach out with your requests for reviews and stories and we’ll get you taken care of in short order.
